ERP & Business Central
A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central practice founded on something most ERP shops have stopped investing in: hands-on, line-by-line fluency in both classic C/AL and modern AL. If your NAV system has a quirky customisation nobody else wants to touch, that's exactly where we start.
The Problem
Dynamics NAV 2016 lost all Microsoft support in April 2026. Every earlier version went dark years before that. Even NAV 2018 — the last release — runs out of extended security updates in January 2028, with no further extensions coming.
The hard part isn't the end-of-support date. It's this: Microsoft has stopped training new partners on C/AL. The developers who can actually open a decade-old NAV customisation, understand why it was written that way, and either fix it or rebuild it correctly in AL — that pool is shrinking every year your system stays on-premises. We didn't start as a BC-only shop and pick up NAV as an afterthought. We started in C/AL and grew into AL. We read both like native languages.
What we do
We don't do lift and shift. Every custom field, every modified posting routine, every workflow tweak has to be understood — then rebuilt as a clean AL extension. We map your customisation footprint first, tell you honestly what's worth rebuilding versus retiring, then migrate without breaking the processes your business runs on.
For companies starting fresh on BC — configuration, approval workflows, role-based setup, data migration, and integration with your existing Microsoft 365 environment. We build using event-subscriber and extension patterns, not base-object modification, so your system stays upgrade-safe through every Microsoft release.
Custom reports, approval workflow logic, credit limit and DOA controls, document number management, posting fixes, integration codeunits — built as targeted, minimal extensions rather than sprawling custom modules. If you've been told a six-line fix needs a six-week project, talk to us first.
Still running NAV and not ready to migrate yet? We provide direct support for customisations already in production — debugging, stale-record and locking issues, approval workflow troubleshooting, and report fixes — without forcing a migration conversation you're not ready to have.
Ageing reports, ledger reconciliation mismatches, backdated data corrections, and one-time data-fix codeunits for issues that built up over years of system use. We treat these as standalone engagements — no retainer required.
What stays consistent
Five things that stay true whether we're fixing a six-year-old approval workflow or rebuilding your entire NAV footprint in AL.
We can read NAV's original C/AL object structure directly — including digging into FOB files when documentation has gone missing — rather than treating your customisations as a black box to be replaced wholesale.
When you talk to us, you're talking to the person who will actually write the code. Not an account manager relaying your request to an offshore queue.
Not every NAV customisation deserves to survive into BC. Part of our job is identifying which ones were workarounds for problems BC already solves natively — so you don't pay to rebuild something you don't need anymore.
Every customisation we write is built as an event-subscriber or extension, never a modification to Microsoft's base objects — which means your system stays cleanly upgradeable, release after release.

The Process
Most migration guides talk about “minimal disruption” without explaining what actually disrupts a business. Here's our honest version.
We go through your NAV system's actual modified objects — not just a feature checklist — and classify each one: rebuild as-is, rebuild differently using BC's native capability, or retire.
A realistic plan based on your specific customisation depth, not a generic 8-week template that assumes you have none.
Master data, transactional history, and financial balances migrated with reconciliation checks before go-live — not after.
Every surviving customisation rebuilt as a proper AL extension. Clean, upgrade-safe, and documented.
Run alongside your live NAV system before cutover, so go-live isn't a leap of faith.
We stay on after go-live. Migration problems that show up in week three are still our problem, not a ticket you file with someone new.
